Description:

Gemini Systems is seeking an Enterprise Architect with advanced skills in internet technologies and distributed computing. The candidate will also possess strong modeling, design and implementation expertise and advanced knowledge of modern computing environments and methods of developing scalable and maintainable software.

Requirements:

• 7+ years with IBM technologies including WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Portal, Lotus (Notes / Domino, Sametime) and IBM Omnifind
• 5+ years experience in J2EE development (EJB, JMS, Web Services)
• 3+ years consulting experience
• Experience managing the full software development life cycle, from project planning and design to quality assurance
• Experience in Rational Unified Process and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in infrastructure build-out.
• Experience in the setup of the infrastructure for full product and application development, including version control, IDE, bug tracking, object modeling, profiling and tuning, to optimize productivity of development team.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) regarding technical and non-technical concepts
• Strong analytical and problem determination and resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish professional working relationships with varying levels of both business and technical personnel

Academic Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
