Description:

A senior architect with Gemini Systems is responsible for the design, implementation, deployment and support of mission-critical and line-of-business systems. S/he is current and hands-on with established and emerging technologies including commercial and Open Source software in the areas of Distributed Systems, Business Integration, Message Oriented Middleware, Information Architecture, Enterprise Search, Content Management, Email Archival and custom software development employing basic GoF Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns.

Requirements:

• 7+ years with IBM technologies including WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, WebSphere Portal, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, Tivoli Access Manager, Lotus (Notes / Domino, Sametime) and OmniFind Enterprise Edition
• 5+ years experience in J2EE development (EJB, JMS, Web Services)
• 3+ years experience with a consulting organization
• Proven ability to deploy, customized and support enterprise software from the IBM stack and other vendors
• Experience managing software development life cycle, from project planning and design to quality assurance
• Lead team and process to achieve productivity, quality goals and customer satisfaction
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) regarding technical and non-technical concepts
• Strong analytical and problem determination and resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish professional working relationships with varying levels of both business and technical personnel

Academic Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
