Simon Leung

President and CEO

Simon founded Gemini Systems in 1987 to meet the diverse and growing information-technology needs of the financial-services community. Having served the industry for more than 20 years, his vision of providing superior consulting services to this rapidly changing industry quickly became a reality through successes with clients such as American International Group and the New York Stock Exchange. Through the highly selective recruiting of like-minded, extremely motivated associates, Gemini has been able to carry out Simon's goals on an increasingly broader scale by expanding its offerings and the number of clients that it serves. Simon is active in the day-to-day management of operations and client relationships, and participates in the strategic planning and vision development of major client initiatives. Simon studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to founding Gemini Systems, Simon was the Manager of Financial Systems of the Telecommunications Department at Goldman Sachs & Co. and Project Manager at Chatham Consulting Group.

Claire Yacubovich

Senior Vice President

Claire has been with Gemini Systems since its inception and has been a key contributor to its rapid growth. An experienced, meticulous project manager, Claire has led team after team of Gemini developers in achieving system-development excellence. Claire graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She began her career with Bechtel Power Corporation in the Plant Facilities Automated Engineering Group.

Michael Bisignani

Senior Vice President, co-CTO

Mr. Bisignani has been with Gemini Systems since 1993. As co-CTO and the firm's foremost Enterprise Architect, he has lead many of Gemini's most sophisticated engagements. A long time veteran of the IT industry, Michael is able to successfully bring together experiences that span over two decades of technology and apply them to recurring problems that face today's large organizations. He has been a pioneer in the area of Enterprise Extranets and Intranets and Distributed Services and Application Platforms. His innovative solutions have always melded a thorough understanding of strategic business priorities across and along lines of business with the targeted, yet pragmatic application of technology and best practices. His solutions have provided enterprises with tangible and quantifiable returns over the short and long term. Currently he focuses on the vast area of ECM, as seen through the models of a Service Oriented Enterprise, and his work is helping organizations leverage untapped system and content assets.

Michael holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Mercy College and various industry certifications. When not architecting systems, Michael exercises some of his creativity in the culinary arts creating unique recipes that fuse the rustic cuisine of his native Italy with the global ingredients of a more multicultural scene that spans the globe.

Mahesh Pakianathan

Senior Vice President, co-CTO

Mahesh joined Gemini Systems in 1994 and in his role as co-CTO and enterprise architect helps define the technology direction for Gemini Systems and its clients. His 17-year track record as an accomplished technologist, IT leader, and change agent includes affiliations with the NYSE Group, CIT, U.S Trust and GE Capital. Most recently, Mahesh helped architect and implement the platform services strategy for a major client.This included the development of the strategy to implement several cross-profit center applications, intranet and extranet portals, document and process solutions, enterprise security architecture, SOA, enterprise information management and coordination and integration of IT activities in support of all vertical business units. During his career at Gemini, Mahesh has played a variety of roles including lead architect, leader of an international team of developers, company representative at conferences, as well as designer and leader of strategic partnership initiatives. Mahesh holds a post graduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India with post-graduate work at NYU.

Robert Pigué

Senior Vice President

Bob joined Gemini Systems in 1995. He is a 20-year veteran of technical consulting and project management in the financial-services and defense industries. Prior to joining Gemini Systems, Bob held the position of Director of Information Services at A.I. Credit Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group. He specializes in IT strategic planning, project management, JAD facilitation, business information modeling, large-scale systems development, and the application of structured methods throughout a system's project life cycle.

Bob received a B.S. in Engineering and Computer Science from Trinity College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York. He has been a speaker at Lotusphere, quoted in CIO and Waters Magazine, and recognized by Lotus Development Corp. for innovative use of Lotus technologies.

Sunil Kapur

Senior Vice President

Mr Kapur is a Sr Vice President at Gemini Systems LLC and focuses on the Financial Services Industry. His expertise in the Capital Markets and Regulatory Compliance has helped in delivering solutions that have enabled our customers differentiate themselves from their competition. He has provided solutions in the areas of Team Collaboration & Knowledge Management Portals, Business Intelligence in Structured and Unstructured information and Risk assessments. He has been part of the various Project and Program management initiatives providing strategy and direction in the areas of Project Portfolio Management, Outsourcing, Strategic IT planning and Management. He has managed multi-project engagements and worked with various Fortune 500 Companies like NYSE, Credit Suisse, Sony Music, NCR and international institutions like UNICEF, IFAD. Mr Kapur attained his Engineering degree in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Bombay, India.

Evan Herbst

Managing Director of Strategy and Development

Evan re-joined Gemini Systems in 2002, after having previously been with Gemini from 1996-1998. Evan is responsible for Gemini's Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Corporate Development and Marketing. Through his executive and consulting work, Evan has been involved in multiple startup companies in the technology, media and services industries. Evan has worked with leading companies such as General Electric, Pharmacia, and Wyeth, in analyzing and applying technology solutions, and has created partnerships and joint ventures with leading technology companies such as IBM, Computer Associates, and EMC.

Prior to joining Gemini Systems, Evan was the Chief Technology Officer of ip*network, Inc., the premier vendor of web-based enterprise software and solutions for managing intellectual property and intellectual property licensing agreements. At ip*network, Evan was responsible for Software Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Professional Services, Web Operations, and MIS. In addition, Evan assisted in business planning, capital raising, merger and acquisition evaluation, and in building alliances with Big 5 consulting firms, intellectual property commercialization firms, patent docketing firms, and software and technology providers. Evan has also served as a co-founder and Partner in BedRock Ventures - a firm providing consulting and capital raising services to start-up and turnaround businesses; the Founder and CEO of StorageOne Media - a software firm for entertainment companies; and as a co-founder and President of Exa Media - a digital services firm for entertainment companies.

Mr. Herbst received a Bachelor's degree in Systems Science and Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently has a patent application pending with the USPTO entitled "A System and Method for Delivering Content to Mobile Devices".
