The opening of our second offshore development center has added more diversification to Gemini’s Global Delivery Model.

For the Synchronous Virtual Office (SVO), Gemini Systems-Chennai and Gemini Systems-New York will overlap office hours every day for 3 hours minimum. Gemini Systems -Chennai overlaps hours in New York from 9AM EST to 12PM EST. Late shifts are the norm in India for offshore development companies.

In addition to the SVO offering for Chennai, we also have an Operational Support Offering which allows Gemini Systems to serve our customers 24 hours a day. With extended support (usually done for help desk projects) a Gemini-Chennai employee will be available from 7AM EST to 9PM EST. Gemini Systems can also offer On-Call support.

Gemini Systems (India) Private Limited has been successfully appraised at level three of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated for Software Engineering (CMMI-SW, Version 1.1tm) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University.  The CMMI-SW standard was introduced to supersede the traditional CMM standard as a more rigorous standard.  Gemini Systems was appriased by Dr. S. Ravichandran of Trimentus Technologies.
